Choose the right container

WHAT DUMPSTER SIZE DO I NEED?

Compare our three roll-off sizes and learn which project details matter before you schedule delivery.

The right dumpster is large enough for the whole project without being more container than you need. Roll-Off Express offers 15, 20 and 30-yard dumpsters. These are volume measurements, so debris type and weight still matter—especially for roofing, concrete, dirt and other dense materials.

15-YARD DUMPSTER: COMPACT PROJECTS

Our 15-yard dumpster starts at $425. It is a practical choice for small home cleanouts, furniture removal, single-room remodels and projects where placement space is limited. As a rough visual estimate, it can hold about four to six pickup-truck loads, but bulky or heavy material can change the recommendation.

20-YARD DUMPSTER: THE VERSATILE MIDDLE

Our 20-yard dumpster starts at $475. It is commonly considered for kitchen or bathroom remodeling, flooring removal, roofing and medium property cleanups. It provides more room for mixed debris and is roughly comparable to six to eight pickup-truck loads.

30-YARD DUMPSTER: LARGE CLEANUPS AND CONSTRUCTION

Our 30-yard dumpster starts at $525. It is designed for larger renovations, whole-home cleanouts, construction debris and projects that create bulky material. It can hold roughly nine to twelve pickup-truck loads, depending on how the material is shaped and loaded.

Important: Never choose a container for heavy material by volume alone. Concrete, dirt, brick, block, shingles and tile may require special loading limits. Call before booking.

FOUR QUESTIONS THAT MAKE THE CHOICE EASIER

  1. What are you removing? List each main material instead of saying only “construction debris.”
  2. How large is the project? Count rooms, roof layers, furniture pieces or the part of the property being cleared.
  3. How much space is available? Think about the driveway, gates, parked vehicles, branches and truck access.
  4. Will the project grow? Demolition often reveals more debris than expected. A little extra room can prevent a second haul.

LOAD SAFELY AND EFFICIENTLY

Place flat material along the bottom when practical, break down bulky items when safe, and distribute weight instead of concentrating it in one area. Keep everything below the top rail so the load can be transported safely. Do not move the container or load material over its sides.

STILL BETWEEN TWO SIZES?

Tell us what the job includes. A short conversation about the debris, property and schedule is more reliable than guessing from photos online. We will recommend the most practical size and explain the starting price for your delivery area.
